This iconic Philodendron is more commonly grown as a house plant.  The dark velvety leaves attain impressive sizes when well grown.  It thrives in the humid conditions of tropical terraria and while not overly aggressive some pruning will be required to keep the the leaf size small (assuming that is what you want).
