This plant is native to the Condor mountains of Southern Ecuador.  The remote and under explored Condor Mountains that breaches the frontier of Ecuador and Peru will surely be the source of many unique botanical treasures for years to come.  This plant is quite remarkable.  Its relatively coarsely veined foliage stayes small, generally around 1 cm and is tends to grow more compactly than other very similar plants in the trade (Mini Santiago and Mini Pteropus #3).  Growth is slows and does well in moderate to low light.
